Our Courses


Adult Learner Responsive
Supporting adults aged 19+ to gain classroom based qualifications in Functional Skills in both Maths & English and also Employability Skills. Courses are ongoing and learners can come to the college to start learning at their own pace whenever they are ready.

Functional Skills sessions are 3 hours long and learners can come for as many sessions as they wish to attend. These sessions are:
Maths- Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday afternoons 1-4pm. Thursday morning 9-12pm
English- Monday afternoon 1-4pm, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday mornings 9-12pm

Employability Skills courses can be started at any time and run all day each Friday, starting at 9am.
Learners must be UK resident, aged 19+ be unemployed and in receipt of a benefit.
This course is funded by the Skills Funding Agency via Hull College.

Learn My Way
Online basic level computer course providing individuals with modules that help with using keyboard and mouse, basic computer skills, using email and further job search modules. Courses take approximately 10 hours to complete. And are supported by Goodwin Community College Volunteers.

Session times: Wednesday & Thursday from 10am – 12pm and 1-3pm. Friday from 9am-12pm and 1-3pm
